A great afternoon was had on the 26th June at the Pavillion in the park in Eastleigh where Eastleigh Transition group were celebrating their first birthday as a group. Etnet, as they are known for short, were one of the groups who were supported by the Scrapstore's Community Builders Project.
Stuart made alternative England flags with the children, while also telling all the mums and dads about the store and what we do.

Eastpoint Centre Redevelopment |
|
The replacement of the life-expired Eastpoint Centre with a brand new building has begun and is scheduled to be finished in Summer 2011.
The new Eastpoint will not include the Scrapstore, but a site has been found in Southampton so that we will be able to continue to deliver our invaluable service to our members.
We are not yet revealing where this is because we are working with others to obtain somewhere bigger, better and more sustainable! However, we will notify all members of our new site in plenty of time, by post, email, website and in the store.
Parking is still available in the main Eastpoint carpark, beyond the Scrapstore, but occasionally it may be necessary to park out on Burgoyne Road. On Wednesday evenings there are closer spaces next to the pre-school, around the corner from the Scrapstore.
