Scrapstore Volunteers

Aside from John, our part time paid coordinator, Scrapstore is run entirely by volunteers.
Volunteers are the store's life blood and without them, 48,000 children and 6,000 adults (March 2009 analysis) wouldn't have access to our low cost resources.

Find something you love to do

There’s a very happy atmosphere in the store and putting in an appearance can be like going to a social event. Some people prefer to be ‘back of house’ unloading and sorting 'scrap just in' while others enjoy serving customers, taking photos of the scrap for the website, or helping out with the shop.

Workshops and events

We love craft. Goodwood, Larmer tree, St Mary's Community festival - these are just some of the events at which we've run workshops. Volunteer with·us·and you could help run these as·an Artist's Assistant.

Committee

We love Scrapstore. Show off your talents behind the scenes at Scrapstore and help make us fit for purpose and able to survive the credit crunch so we're around for many more members to use.
